Cheersing to the Holidays with Cheese, Cocktails, Cake & Jam

At Branding & Buzzing, we believe engagement offline is just as special and vital as engagement one finds online, like on your brand’s most utilized social networks. This is what makes experiential marketing so important, while also approachable and fun; it’s simultaneous two-way engagement with your target audience, target media or current customer base but in real life! This brand connection creates brand loyalty, plus long-term memories and tangible goods they can actually take home with them.

By the Numbers: 79% of event attendees share experiences on Instagram, 49% of which create mobile video content.

Around the holiday season, we took four client brands – Finica, Bonne Maman, Canola Eat Well, Stonewall Kitchen – and activated them in our local media and influencer communities in ways which brought everyone together in fabulously festive fashion.

Cheers to Cheese with Finica

Hosted by On Boards author Lisa Dawn Bolton, guests were invited to kick off their holiday party season at Dish Cooking Studio. There, they created their own boards featuring 4 cheeses that included Beemster, Colliers, Guinness Cheddar and Snowdonia – all provided by Finica – at a DIY station. The tasting station also featured these cheeses and was styled by Christine Tizzard! Taking home what they made, and a signed copy of On Boards, they then had the opportunity to win a holiday gourmet basket valued at $500 by sharing their homemade charcuterie board creations. #CheersToCheese

Congrats to the winner, @JustCrumbs!

Home for the Holidays with Bonne Maman

In under 24 hours, a 2000 square foot event space was transformed into a gorgeous, cozy holiday living area for a special ‘Home for the Holidays’ soiree with Bonne Maman. From board games of childhoods past to DIY snowglobes to delicious jam cocktails, everyone was feeling the fruity, festive spirit! #BonneMamanHoliday

Holiday Chiffon Cake Bake-Off with Canola Eat Well

With holidays come times of feeling grateful for the food and family around us, and what better way to give thanks than learning from the source how our foods our made and where our ingredients come from? With our fabulous Host and Culinary Curator, Jasmine Baker, and our client, Canola Eat Well, our guests at The Edible Story were able to see and hear first hand how Canola is made, and how it can be used in a variety of different bundt cakes, just in time for celebrations and holiday get-togethers. Don’t those cakes look good? #MakeItCanola

Boards ‘n’ Cocktails with Stonewall Kitchen

Getting everyone ready for holiday hosting, we invited our guests for an exclusive evening of classic cocktails and charcuterie how-to’s, hosted by Stonewall Kitchen and Culinary Curator Jasmine Baker! Everyone had a chance to create their own charcuterie boards, featuring various spreads, pickled goods and garnishes from the brand. #SKMadeInMaine
