In order to discover some truly unique food mashups that anyone can make at home, Thai Kitchen partnered with Canada’s hottest foodie bloggers who are known for their creativity, knowledge and enthusiasm for delicious, one-of-a-kind creations.

“Global Food Mashups are happening everywhere that you look in the food world,” said Eins Mutuc, Marketing Product Manager, McCormick Canada (Thai Kitchen). “Just look at what’s happening with fish sauce, a traditional Asian seasoning: right now it’s blowing up and is being used in ways that you wouldn’t expect, such as a flavour enhancer in traditional French or Mexican cuisine. It’s that kind of new mashup that gets us excited about what the Celebrity Food Bloggers in our challenge are going to dream up.”

The rapid growth of social media has given bloggers a powerful platform to reach new audiences of foodlovers. The Celebrity Food Bloggers in this recipe challenge weren’t your average writers who visit new restaurants on occasion – they were and are the new rock stars of the food world who are seasoned and have a massive passion for everything to do with food. From cuisine experimentation, to emerging trends, to insider tips and knowledge, Celebrity Food Bloggers are on the cusp of what’s cool in cuisine.
