It may have been a rainy day in September, but foodies alike braved the wet weather and came out to celebrate the 2nd annual AwesTRUCK awards ceremony at the historical Fort York Garrison Common. Over 50 food trucks from Ontario’s best curbside cuisine and food’s hottest talents celebrated the revolutionary spirit of Canada’s street food scene and the largest food truck rally in Canadian history.
Our client, Samuel Adams was the official beverage partner. The brewery hosted 4 of Toronto’s hottest pop-up vendors including FeasTO, La Brea Food, Big E Grinds, and Babi & Co. where visitors will be able to enjoy some serious street food paired with the brewery’s outstanding selection of beers. We invited 10 Toronto Influencers to join in on a VIP beer and food pairing before the gates opened to the general public. The pavilion featured food paired with Samuel Adams Boston Lager and Latitude 48.
Rock Lobster Food Co’s Matt Dean Pettit lead this VIP pairing experience with his electric personality and his natural ability to talk about beer and food. Each Influencer engaged with their social media communities sharing their newly founded knowledge of the pop-up vendor experience. Needless to say, tons of buzz was created around the Samuel Adams Pavilion and AwesTRUCK 2013!
