10tation Event Catering’s David D’Aprile is bringing the tastes and talent to you with the launch of Canada’s first ever celebrity chef catering service.
CHEFS BY 10TATION is teaming up with those who are changing the Canadian culinary landscape. The lineup includes Toronto’s Cory Vitiello (Flock Rotisserie & Greens), Calgary’s John Jackson & Connie DeSousa (CHARCUT Roast House, charbar) and Montreal’s Michele Forgione (Impasto, Chez Tousignant, Pizzeria Gema).
This service provides clients the opportunity to offer food that these chefs are known for to parties of any size, at any time and for any occasion right here in Toronto.

Originally established in 2001, 10tation Event Catering is a preferred caterer for exclusive venues, high profile organizations, and gala events including the MMVA’s, the Canadian Screen Awards, Toronto International Film Festival, Four Seasons Centre, and many more.
After a 10-year run as the Executive Chef and Owner of Toronto’s The Harbord Room and THR & Co restaurants, Cory Vitiello has started Flock Rotisserie & Greens, a chain of healthy, chef-inspired quick service restaurants throughout Toronto. He has also been known for being a starring host on Food Network Canada as well as a chef expert on popular daytime specials like etalk and The Marilyn Dennis Show.
“With David’s focus on having the infrastructure to be able to cater to larger scale events and my focus on what’s on the plate, there’s a certain synergy between us that makes this the perfect partnership,” Vitiello explained, “we can both cook, we can both cater but at the same time our best abilities, our specializations, counterbalance each other, bringing what’s beloved about premium restaurant cuisine to elegant, upscale events of greater proportions.”
Meanwhile, in Calgary Alberta, John Jackson and Connie DeSousa have been known for internationally training and competing in events like the World Culinary Olympics and Chaîne De Rotîsseurs, working out of locations like Germany, Italy and South Africa. The duo also opened San Francisco’s Mobil 5-star St. Regis Hotel while DeSousa pulled double duty, working out of Berkeley, California’s Chez Panisse as well.
By 2009, Jackson and DeSousa had moved back to Calgary and opened their award-winning CHARCUT Roast House, followed by charbar in 2015.

Cooking out of Montreal’s exquisite Little Italy, Michele Forgione is the executive chef of three critically-acclaimed restaurants; Impasto, Chez Tousignant and Pizzeria Gema. This year, Impasto was recognized among Canada’s 100 Best for the second year in a row, a large milestone for this Italian cuisine aficionado.
