The birds weren’t chirping and winter coats were still on but that didn’t stop people from going to Toronto Festival of Beer’s Spring Sessions.
This past April, Spring Sessions took over the Evergreen Brick Works venue for two days. With the overwhelming lead up and the countless ticket giveaways on social media, the first day was sold out days before the event.
The crowd came thirsty, hungry, and ready to tweet their night away.
Despite the cold weather, beer lovers alike came together and enjoyed the 18 breweries including Flying Monkey, Great Lakes Brewery, and Beau’s All Natural. Guests were also well-fed during the event with some of Toronto’s favourite hot spots such as Rock Lobster Food & Co., Hot Bunzz, and Pizzeria Libretto.
As the guests were quenching their thirst, the night was documented on Twitter. We live tweeted the entire event and gave everyone “twatching” (Twitter watching) a serious case of FOMO.
