We’re currently seeking an Account Coordinator to join our team!

Duties & Accountabilities

POSITION TYPE: Contract (Immediate, Paid – Toronto Office)

POSTING DATE: February 2020

Social Media Community Management

Liaison and report to Account Director and Account Managers
Schedule weekly editorials + daily social listening via Instagram post and stories, including outside of office hours
Daily community engagement to help grow social reach, following and engagement
Research food trends and other trending topics that relate to social media and digital marketing, preparing/posting social media editorials

Project Coordination

Assist with executing, maintaining and optimizing campaigns and programs as directed by Account Managers
Assist with scheduling logistics of social media ad buys and sponsorships as directed by Account Managers
Assist with managing programs that connect with Influencers, Chefs, Mixologists including prospecting Influencers, crafting “toolboxes” and following-up with invitees to events as directed by the Account Managers
Maintain and update Agency and Client databases including updating mail manager programs
Collect Media Kits, identify client editorial opportunities and develop PR calendars

Event/Festival Coordination

Assist with the development, planning, execution and management of Influencer & client events/festivals
Provide onsite event support (i.e. set-up, guest check-in, front/back of house, photographer assistance, etc.)

Office Administration

Prepare account service-related documents such as meeting agendas, participating in and documenting discussions during client meetings and conference calls.
Field and process internal information requests
Assist with mailings and ordering office supplies
Assist with media, influencer and creative supplier database management
Up to 10 hours per week assisting partners with assigned tasks

Professional Development

Upon hiring, complete Hootsuite Academy courses prior to contract start date and outside of contract office hours. Agency to compensate any fees associated with course and/or exam fees.
