#InstaGood – Top 10 Pumpkin Spice Beverages (That Aren’t Lattes)

With its seeds first found in Mexico’s Oaxaca Highlands, historians approximate the origin of the pumpkin to be 7,500 years ago, beloved for their solid flesh and ability to be stored through the coldest of weather in times of low resources.

The first-known pumpkin recipe was released in the 1670’s through John Josselyn’s “New England’s Rarities Discovered,” a lesson in slow-cooking diced ripe pumpkin.

But of course, Halloween aside, the first pumpkin feature that comes to mind in September is the Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte, first unveiled by the coffee empire in 2003. Since then, it hasn’t been hard to find a source of pumpkin spice caffeine to get us through these half-hot, half-chilly summer/autumn days.

Inspired by this harvest season revolution, we have curated our Top 10 #InstaGood Pumpkin Spice Beverages to help spice up those just as chilly nights at home or on the town. (Sorry, Linus)
