The NEW YEAR typically brings NEW YEAR resolutions filled with foods we promise to stay away from as we shuffle our routines and sign-up for gym memberships. It also brings a lot talk about 2015 food trends.
It’s about this time of year when we start to see trend lists popping up almost daily predicting what may or may not end up on the tip of your fork. So we decided to join the banter and weigh in.

Time to switch off the BBQ and crank up your smoker. Smoke everything from ice to bread to fresh pasta.

Sample and eat rather than order and devour. Community eating helps make friends too.

Easily bored? Try mixing the unexpected together. Mac N’ Cheese Quesadilla or Waffle Tacos is a good place to start.

We can’t find a reason why you shouldn’t tap into this liquid sweetener anytime you reach for sugar.
TEAFINITY AND BEYOND
No simple cup of tea please. Take your tea beyond the bag and use its leaves for poaching, smoking, as a seasoning, and even to make sorbets, cakes and sauces with.
VEGETABLE YOGURT
We’re already whipping up carrot smoothies so why not add make eat your yogurt with a side of veggies?
GONE FISHING
Expect to see fish sauce invade AND replace seasonings such as salt, vinegar and even mustard.
