Social Media Manager Position Accountabilities

Lead and manage Client account social media platforms that includes Organic and Paid, Influencer Marketing and Content Creation. The Social Media Manager will collaborate with Marketing Coordinator, Content Manager Copywriter and/or Graphic Designer for the successful execution of Client deliverables.

Community Management Roles/Tasks

  • Build Client social media strategies across platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok and Pinterest
  • Social Media editorial approvals, engagement and scheduling editorials (collaborate and manage Agency copywriter related to account work)
  • Social Media Ads (strategy, create content, deploy, monitor and report on campaigns)
  • Coordinate campaign and evergreen content (copy and assets)
  • Integrate campaigns and/or programs into editorials
  • Reporting and creating/managing KPI documents
  • Manage budgets from preparation to client approval with management guidance and final approval
  • Execute and/or collaborate with Ad Specialist for ad insights and reporting
  • Creating and managing KPI documents
  • Create client reports including Executive Summaries and collated data

 

Influencer Marketing Management Roles/Tasks

  • Manage multiple programs & campaigns and budgets related to Influencer Marketing programs that are integrated into Client’s social media content
  • Develop briefs and strategies, adapting when applicable
  • Prospect, pitch and secure Influencers for programs, campaigns and/or ambassadorship
  • Liaison between Influencers, clients, suppliers and brands
  • Collating metrics and reporting

 

Content Creation Roles/Tasks

  • Develop creative services brief.
  • Manage Marketing Coordinator with supplier and content creator work orders, photography shot lists, Google Forms, Google Tracking Documents and any other service agreements
  • Develop content story boards/shot lists/swipe
  • Collaborate with Content Manager where applicable
  • Assist and managing photography and video sessions
  • Create template, layout and deploy e-newsletters
  • Create, upload and publish blogs on WordPress built websites and/or coordinate with Marketing Coordinator to execute

 

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing is preferred
  • Minimum 2+ year of agency experience
  • Driven, energetic and goal-oriented
  • Work well under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Logical, work-oriented, and analytical
  • Problem solver
  • Understand the rules and processes but know when to show initiative
  • Strong passion for marketing
  • Demonstrated client relationship skills
  • Proficient in all MS Office programs, Mailchimp, Monday.com, Hootesuite and Social Media platforms
