Your Step-by-Step Guide to Toronto Soup Festival!

TORONTO (October 5, 2018)Toronto Soup Festival is a 2-day outdoor event at Garrison Common (Historic Fort York) in support of SECOND HARVEST. The festival will be showcasing a wide variety of gourmet soups, stews and chilis, plus artisan exhibitors.

Attendees will be treated to signature cuisine, fresh baked goods, live entertainment, hot beverages, hotter campfires, and a fascinating array of culinary demonstrations.

WHAT TO BRING

 

Plan to bring your own bowl, Thermos or reusable takeout container, plus cash to purchase sampling tickets. If you’d like to go cash-free, download the Token Mobile app. ATMs will also be available onsite for your convenience.

This event will be happening rain or shine, so please dress for the weather.

 

GETTING STARTED

 

Upon entering the grounds, grab your official Toronto Soup Festival spoon-lanyard, and snap an Insta-worthy photo at the festival’s life-size stockpot! When you’re ready to eat, purchase your food vouchers from the festival’s ticket booth or load your Token Mobile App.

INSIDER TIP: If you don’t end up using all of your tokens, you can transfer them to friends & family or simply donate them to SECOND HARVEST!

 

THINGS TO DO

 

For sizzling tricks & tips, hit up the PHILIPS SOUPMAKER DEMONSTRATION STAGE and watch some of the province’s top culinary chefs ladle up their most-loved soup medleys. Stick around after for the tastings in support of SECOND HARVEST!

Once the soup has heated your body, grab your family and/or squad and warm your toes around the CAMPFIRE.

Afterwards, take in some ear-pleasing acoustic LIVE ENTERTAINMENT featuring musical artists such as Los Angeles’ Frank Ryan and local vocalist Jessica Leung!

Kids are FREE so bring the little ones! Stop by the KID’S ZONE for games & activities that are sure to keep them happy and occupied.

Stroll into the FARMER’S MARKET for quality meats, produce & fresh baked goods to take home, lovingly harvested by Niemi Family Farms and AE Natural Meats.
