Staying Inspired: How We Keep Ideas Fresh at Branding & Buzzing
Coming up with fresh content ideas for clients is a never-ending challenge. Creativity is key, but let’s be honest—sometimes, the best approach is to take a tried-and-true idea and make it your own. At Branding & Buzzing, we’ve built a system to keep inspiration flowing, even on those days when the idea well seems a little dry.
The Secret? Having a Go-To List of Ideas
We believe in structured creativity—a mix of spontaneity and reliable formats. When we’re stuck, we pull up our internal playbook of clever content styles. These are tested, effective, and adaptable to any brand’s voice.
One of our favorites?
The “Post-It” Post
This one’s simple but effective:
-
Write down a brand’s RTBs (Reasons to Believe) on sticky notes.
-
Post them in different locations—a desk, a storefront, a cocktail bar, a kitchen counter, or even on someone’s laptop.
-
Capture them all and stitch them together into a dynamic post or Reel.
It’s a playful way to showcase key messages while keeping the visuals engaging. Plus, it makes great UGC-style content that doesn’t feel overly polished.

Build a Content Rotation
We recommend choosing a few go-to content styles per client. This helps maintain consistency while allowing for easy creativity within a familiar format. Some other examples of repeatable styles we use:
✔ The “Overheard” Post – A fun quote from a brand team member or influencer, styled to feel organic.
✔ The “Behind-the-Scenes” Snapshot – A raw, unfiltered look at a product or experience in action.
✔ The “Flashback” Feature – A throwback to a past campaign, reminding audiences of what they loved.
Why This Works
Having a set of pre-approved, repeatable ideas means you never run out of engaging content. It keeps a client’s feed fresh while maintaining a recognizable style. Plus, it allows for a mix of spontaneous creativity and structured planning—perfect for brands that want to stay top-of-mind without the pressure of reinventing the wheel every day.
