Already a global leader in flavour, McCormick & Company, home of McCormick for Chefs and Club House for Chefs, has been awarded two major top honours for 2017 at the World Economic Forum.
Corporate Knights, a Canadian market research company and index manager, has placed McCormick at #14 in the Global Most Sustainable Corporations Index while registering it as #1 in the food products industry.
Sustainability highlights from McCormick’s green efforts include:
- Educating communities on sodium reduction through use of herbs and spices with research from the McCormick Science Institute.
- Reduction in water usage, waste production and energy usage through employee training and tools.
- Use of partnerships and programs to support agriculture while working with over 13,000 farmers.
