Bourbon Day Event Recap: A Celebration of American Whiskey with a Taste of Tennessee

On Bourbon Day, we teamed up with our client, the Distilled Spirits Council of the USA, to host an unforgettable celebration of American whiskey culture in Canada. Held on [event date], this event brought together whiskey lovers, influencers, media, and industry representatives for an exclusive evening featuring some of the best whiskeys from the USA. With over 200 attendees, it was an event to remember.

At the heart of the event were six whiskey stations representing our director brands, where guests could sample a range of American whiskies. From Tennessee Whiskey to American Single Malts, each station offered something unique for both seasoned whiskey aficionados and those new to the world of bourbon. Attendees could explore the distinct flavors and histories behind American Rye, Bourbon, and more, making the evening a journey through the diverse landscapes of American distilling.

Craft Distillers Showcase Room

In addition to the whiskey stations, we hosted a Craft Distillers Showcase Room, where importers and distributors had the opportunity to discover new products from American craft distillers seeking representation in Canada. This exclusive space provided a chance for smaller distilleries to network and expand into the Canadian market, adding an extra layer of excitement for those looking to bring unique offerings to their portfolio.

A Taste of Tennessee with Hattie B’s

One of the major highlights of the night was a culinary first for Canada—Hattie B’s Hot Chicken. Flown in directly from Tennessee, Hattie B’s brought a true taste of Southern tradition to the event, marking the restaurant’s Canadian debut. The pairing of Nashville’s famous hot chicken with American whiskey was a perfect match, giving attendees an authentic Tennessee experience that was as flavorful as it was unforgettable.

Special Guest Performance by The Whiskey Hunter

As the night progressed, guests were treated to a live performance by The Whiskey Hunter, a special guest who performed three songs and brought an energetic and engaging atmosphere to the room. His music, paired with the incredible whiskey and food offerings, helped create a lively and memorable ambiance that left attendees buzzing.

VIP Guests and Notable Attendees

Among the 200 attendees, we were joined by a host of notable guests, including VIP influencers, media representatives, and industry professionals. This high-profile attendance added an extra layer of prestige to the event and ensured that American whiskey was well-represented in conversations across social and media platforms.

A Successful Celebration of Bourbon Day

Bourbon Day was a resounding success, bringing together whiskey enthusiasts and industry insiders for a night of excellent whiskey, great music, and delicious Southern cuisine. We’re proud to have partnered with the Distilled Spirits Council of the USA to make this event happen and to have played a role in celebrating American whiskey in Canada.

Stay tuned for more events and tastings in the future, as we continue to bring the best of American spirits to Canadian shores. Cheers!
