On February 28th, 2014 the first Annual Grilled Cheese Festival was held at the Roy Thompson Hall in Toronto.
Apart from the Samuel Adams Boston Lager being a favourite to pair with the gourmet sandwiches, we also had the pleasure of featuring it IN a sandwich!
MELT partnered with The Cheese Boutique and Samuel Adams to create: The Tattooed Chicken filled with Samuel Adams Oka-Style Cheese, Chicken, Bacon, Herbed Tomato, and Garlic Mayo. And yes, it was as phenomenal as it sounds.
We consider this collaboration just another side of the beautiful friendship that is cheese and beer!
