Taste Canada and Food Bloggers of Canada have partnered up for the Food Writing Awards 2015. Online foodie personalities are invited to submit their top blog posts to the 2015 Food Blog Category: Best Post. These submissions can be a restaurant review, food experience or recipe post. The catch? No sponsored posts!
If a year’s bragging rights aren’t enough, the winning author(s) will also receive recognition through:
- Media outreach
- A Guest Pass to the Gala Awards event in the fall of 2015
- A trophy to commemorate winning a Gold Award
- Taste Canada and Food Bloggers of Canada websites
- Ongoing partnerships with such Canadian media outlets as Gusto TV, retailers, and sponsors
- Finalists and winners will receive exclusive access to a special Taste Canada badge for their website
ABOUT THE FOOD WRITING AWARDS 2015 PARTNERS
Taste Canada—The Food Writing Awards is managed by a core staff under the leadership of the National Chair, Donna Dooher. The staff share a common desire to encourage the development, use, and recognition of fine Canadian writing, in both English and French, in the world of food and beverage.
Food Bloggers of Canada (FBC) represents over 1,700 Canadian food bloggers from coast to coast to coast. FBC works to promote and showcase the incredible work by Canadian food bloggers in their own respective space while also providing resources to improve their blogs and social media influence. FBC also organizes and hosts Canada’s only National Food Blogger conference. FBC2015 will be in Montreal at Le Westin from Oct. 23-25, 2015.
Before submitting your Food Writing Awards 2015 applications, double check on the eligibility requirements (here) and take note that the judges will be looking at the following items:
- Organization /Focus
- Visual/Blog aesthetics
