Crunchy, Cheesy, Melty, MMMMmmm!

Whether you were the lucky kid in elementary school who got to go home for lunch or grew to have great sandwich cravings beyond PB&J heading into young adulthood, chances are you’ve cooked up your fair share of the classic Kraft singles melted between your favourite bread (+ the side of Heinz or French’s ketchup!)

The history of the grilled cheese sandwich has been recorded as far back as the 1920’s when the distribution of sliced bread became an affordable invention in Iowa and James L. Kraft revolutionized the pasteurization of processed cheese. Similar sandwiches are dated further in time via the French croque monsieurs of the 1900’s. Historians say even the Ancient Romans had equally cheesy ideas.

With April being recognized among lunch-lovin’ foodies as National Grilled Cheese Month, we decided to grill up a list of top 10 #InstaGood sandwich grams that are definitely worth melting over.
